How the Bid System Works

The Targeted Initiatives Bid System operates around a published set of Target Initiatives. These items range from technical development tasks and features to community growth initiatives and infrastructure upgrades. Here's a simple breakdown of how the system functions:

1. Publication of Targeted Initiatives
   The IIT publishes targeted items identified as playing a meaningful role in contributing to our values.

2. Open Bidding Period
   Once an item is listed, any individual, collective, or organization can submit a formal bid. Each bid will include a proposed scope of work, delivery timeline, required compensation in ZERA, and other applicable details. Bids shall be accepted or rejected at the sole discretion of IIT. If bids significant bids are placed near the end of the period, IIT shall allow reasonable time for other existing bidders to respond accordingly.

3. Review and Award Process
   Bids will be evaluated by the IIT. Selection criteria will include feasibility, cost-effectiveness, experience of the bidding team, and other factors.

4. Milestone-Based Payment
   Approved bidders will enter into agreements with predefined milestones. Payment will be disbursed in ZERA based on the successful completion of each milestone, ensuring accountability and progress tracking.
